Wedding Officiant Services & Pricing Guide

Service Areas & Pricing Structure

  • Base Location: Bayonne, NJ (07002)
  • Price Tier 1: Within 20 miles of Bayonne
  • Price Tier 2: Beyond 20 miles in NJ or anywhere in NY (Staten Island, Brooklyn)

Grand Service

For gatherings of 25 people or more

  • Tier 1: $200 | Tier 2: $250
  • Includes:
    • Personalized welcome
    • Exchange of vows
    • Two optional readings
    • Ring exchange ceremony
    • Final pronouncement
    • Complimentary one-hour in-person consultation to craft your perfect ceremony

Simple Service

For intimate gatherings of 4-20 people

  • Tier 1: $175 | Tier 2: $225
  • Includes:
    • Welcome address
    • Exchange of vows
    • Ring exchange ceremony
    • Final pronouncement

License Signing Only

For couples requiring legal documentation only

  • Tier 1: $100 | Tier 2: $125
  • Perfect for destination wedding couples
  • Includes:
    • License completion
    • Legal pronouncement
    • Requires couple and two witnesses only
    • Note: No ceremonial service included

Vow Renewal Service

  • Tier 1: $175 | Tier 2: $225
  • Includes:
    • Welcome address
    • Optional reading
    • Renewal of vows
    • Final blessing

All services are customizable to meet your specific needs while maintaining the core elements of your chosen package. Travel fees apply for Tier 2 locations based on distance.

Rehearsal Service

Fee: $100

  • Officiant will remain on site for up to one hour
  • Typically scheduled within the week before the ceremony
  • Subject to officiant availability

Holiday Services

Fees: $300 – $400 Available for ceremonies local to 07002 on the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Valentine’s Day
  • St. Patrick’s Day
  • Easter
  • Memorial Day
  • Mother’s Day
  • Father’s Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Halloween
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve

Holiday Pricing Schedule

  • Between 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: $300
  • Between 3:00 PM – Midnight: $400

Fee: $25 per service

*Note: All necessary items for special elements must be purchased separately by the couple. In-person meeting is included complimentary with the Grand Service package.

Travel Fees

  • All meetings, rehearsals, and ceremonies include travel within a 5-mile radius of Bayonne, NJ (07002)
  • Beyond 5 miles: $0.75 per mile, calculated round-trip
  • For distances exceeding 80 miles from 07002, additional fees may apply:
    • Hotel accommodations may be required
    • Additional travel fees may be assessed
    • These charges will be discussed and documented in a written agreement between the couple and officiant

Additional Travel-Related Charges

  • All parking fees will be reimbursed
  • All bridge and tunnel fees (e.g., NYC tolls) will be reimbursed

Waiting Fee Policy

  • A 30-minute grace period is included after the scheduled ceremony start time
  • After the grace period expires, a fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged

Example of Waiting Fee Calculation

For a ceremony scheduled at 6:00 PM:

  • Ceremony starts at 6:30 PM: No additional charge (within grace period)
  • Ceremony starts at 6:35 PM: $5.00 additional charge (5 minutes beyond grace period)
  • Ceremony starts at 7:00 PM: $30.00 additional charge (30 minutes beyond grace period)

Booking Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to secure your wedding date and begin services
  • This deposit will be applied toward your total ceremony fee

Standard Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours after booking to receive a full refund of the deposit
  • Cancellations made after 48 hours will forfeit the $25 deposit

Post-Draft Cancellation

  • If cancellation occurs after receiving the ceremony draft, an additional $50 fee will be charged. If you did not leave deposit, you will then owe $75 total
  • This fee compensates for the time invested in creating your personalized ceremony

Postponement Policy

  • In the event of a wedding postponement, your $25 deposit can be transferred to a new date
  • The deposit transfer must be used within one year of the original cancellation date
  • New date is subject to availability
  • Transfer of deposit is limited to one time only
